Display is known as “static salesmen” in commercial. Display design is a way of visual expression. It creatively transforms the designer’s ideas, thoughts and intentions into visual images. It covers aesthetics, psychology, visual arts, marketing and more.
At the same time, it uses various props, display skills, and combines the exhibits’ culture and market positioning to show the characteristics of the exhibits. The display should vary with the purpose of the display, the method of display and the structure of the display space. Well-designed exhibits display can play a role in displaying exhibits and enhancing the value of exhibits.
Commercial display should based on several issues such as products’ quantity, direction, shape, etc., in order to find the best display method:
(1) Number of displays
When considering the display quantity, the “minimum display quantity” of each exhibit shall be the premise. There must be a certain number of displays, so as to easily achieve the purpose of attracting the audience.
(2) Display direction
When the exhibits are displayed, one of the most important points that cannot be ignored is the display direction. Because the display of exhibits is like the face of a person, it is the first impression to others, so the direction is very important when the exhibits are displayed.
(3) Display form
Display form includes various ways of display. Different ways to show different styles. There are generally five styles: contrast, symmetry, rhythm, harmony, gradient.
