Case Three-Moving Line

2020-09-28 09:56:17

In some stores, customers just entered the store and did not visit the entire store. They came out halfway through the visit. The products in the second half may not be seen. This not only wastes store space, but also greatly reduces the customer's purchase probability. Why does this happen? There must be a problem with your shop's movement lines.

\

In many stores, customers stay in the store for a short time and cannot walk through the entire store. Only by increasing the time that customers spend in the store can the sales rate of goods be increased. Especially for a store with a relatively large area, a reasonable flow line design can allow customers to browse more products, which can greatly increase the customer's purchase probability.

How to make a reasonable route plan? The planning of the movement line must be before the decoration design of the shop, not after the decoration work is completed.

1. Open and smooth. The entire store should be easy for customers to enter and exit, to maintain a smooth flow of passengers, avoid obstacles, and the movement lines in the store should form a flowing closed loop.

\

2. The width of the customer's path is appropriate. When designing, it can be divided into the main aisle and the auxiliary aisle. The main aisle is the first walking route for customers. The width should be appropriate, and a reasonable width should be formulated according to the size of the shop area. The same is true for the auxiliary aisle.

\

3. Avoid dead ends. The moving line design must avoid customers from repeating the road, and allow customers to visit all the products in the store at once.

\

4. Comply with customer habits. Generally speaking, customers don’t want to go to the corner of the shop. They like tortuous roads. They want to go out when there is an exit. They don’t want to go to dark areas. Most people are used to taking things from the right side. Mostly it is counterclockwise.
